Description

Our green range of calibration gas cylinders enable businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and cut costs while demonstrating a commitment to the environment.

The highlights of our green range speak for themselves. They are refillable, compact, made from the highest quality, tested for the lowest failure rate and longest shelf life and totally recyclable.

  • Quad mix for bump testing confined space monitors
  • Calibration gas for confined space monitors

Refillable calibration gas cylinders made from a unique design, enabling re-use of traditionally disposable cylinders. Recycling reduces the environmental cost of landfill.

Compact with the ability to carry twice as much gas, or half the size of the old style cylinders, the Portagreen range is essential for technicians with limited vehicle space. For example, a 58L Portagreen cylinder will fit in a case designed for the old style 34L cylinder, while the 100L and 116L Portagreen cylinders are of similar size to the old 58 litre cylinders.

Lowest failure rate – each cylinder is individually QA tested and fully traceable with N.I.S.T. certification. Rigorous QA procedures and testing has enabled the manufacturer to sustain a return rate of less than 0.3% for several years.

Highest quality manufactured in the USA by an ISO 17025 approved facility to ensure our customers receive calibration gas with the highest accuracy levels!

Longest shelf life enhanced production procedures reliably deliver reactive gases with the longest shelf life. Currently 36 months for non-reactive gases and up to 24 months for many reactive gases including the quad mix with H2S.

Recyclable – every calibration gas cylinder is supplied with the unique “Strip & Ship” program, which includes a reply paid consignment note and packaging tube for easy return shipment of the empty cylinder. Once the empty cylinder declaration has been signed, the cylinder can be packed in the tube and shipped for recycling at no additional cost. This simple program will help your business demonstrate their initiatives in recycling and reduce the time and money associated with the disposal of “dangerous goods.” (This return program is limited to gas mixtures classified as dangerous goods class 2.2.)
